WCO Center at Koreavillage (KVOpencenter) was inaugurated on May 10, 2006 in Flushing, NY, based on the experiences of about 10 years running open centers and staging cultural events in New York City's boroughs.
Its ideal is to break the walls, biases, and conflicts among culturally different groups and espouses the concept of harmonious and peaceful togetherness.
It aims to facilitate and provide programs to the communities at no charge, allowing for growth and development of communities, through concerts, performances, exhibitions, conferences, and other programs.
KVOpencenter is open to all, and it provides its spaces, facilities, and programs.
KVOpencenter allows participants the freedom to explore, create, learn and contribute in an atmosphere of peaceful cultural exchage.
We encourage creative artists, humanitarians, healing arts practitioners and educators from around the world to share their knowledge, experience, skills and talents at the KVOpencenter.
